This is the Grave Creek Covered Bridge built in 1920.
One of the few remaining covered bridges in southern Oregon, the Grave Creek Bridge is the only one you can spot from I-5 between Vancouver, B.C. and Mexico.
The area gets its name from a somber moment in 1846, when a young pioneer, Martha Leland Crowley, passed away near the creek during her journey west. Her story, and the name “Grave Creek”, live on through the land and the bridge.

Applegate Lake
We made a quick pit stop at Applegate Lake in southern Oregon, which is seriously a gem in the Pacific Northwest!
With its crystal-clear water, peaceful trails, and some of the most beautiful mountain views, it is an awesome place to go hiking, kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing by the shore. Bonus: it’s not overly crowded!

Catalyst Pizza – Grants Pass
After going hiking around Applegate Lake, we stopped for dinner at Catalyst Pizza in Grants Pass, home to both New York and Detroit style pizza. The pizza is SO good!!
