Sasquatch Summer Fest, Fort Rock, and the Cowboy Dinner Tree

Sasquatch Summer Fest

Our first stop of the weekend was the Sasquatch Summer Fest in Oakridge, OR. We were on a bit of a time crunch, but we had a blast shopping the vendors and picked up some sweet Bigfoot merch! There was also a teacup Yorkie breeder there, and he had one puppy left for sale….and it was really hard not to bring him home. He was definitely a sweet little guy!

Fort Rock

Our next stop was Fort Rock, which is a tuff ring – an ancient volcanic formation born when basalt magma explosively met lake water roughly 50,000 to 100,000 years ago. Its dramatic cliffs resemble the defensive walls of an old fort, hence its name.

The Cowboy Dinner Tree

The Cowboy Dinner Tree is a high-desert gem! Literally in the middle of nowhere and absolutely worth the drive for mouth-watering steak, chicken, cowboy bean soup, rolls, salad, and dessert. I cannot recommend this place enough!
