This weekend my whole family and my friend Travis made the hike to Tamolitch Blue Pool. This hike is absolutely gorgeous in the fall, with vibrant leaves in every shade of red, orange and yellow. The trail travels along the pristine waters of the McKenzie River, and takes you to where the McKenzie River begins….The Tamolitch Pool where the water surfaces from underground lava fields. The pool lives up to it’s name as the water sparkles a tropical blue, only the water averages about 37 degrees. It was such an incredible day to share with some of my favorite people.
