I’ve passed this barn a million times driving up and down the 99W. Tonight I drove by it again, and really had no intention of taking a photo of it. As I continued on, something made me decide to turn around and take this shot. I’m not sure how much life is left in this barn, but I hope it still has some years in it. My good friend Paul Miller once wrote, “It’s capturing the items within the scene while they’re still alive”, and I thought about that as I nearly let another drive past this place slip buy. I know it doesn’t look like much, but for some reason it brings me comfort that it still stands.
