On our way back from Idaho we stopped at one of our favorite places, Crystal Crane Hot Springs, located in the desert of Crane, Oregon. After three haunted attractions, and about 1,300 miles of driving, it was the perfect place to kick back, soak in the hot springs, and take in the breathtaking views and the smell of sage all around us. Autumn skies in the high desert are hard to beat.
On our way back to the valley, we made a couple of random stops in the near ghost town of Brothers, Oregon, as well as along the South Santiam River. I can’t resist photographing the remnants of a cool old abandoned building. It was a great three day weekend with my brother and sister, and one we won’t soon forget.
